First workshop BIRDHEALTH 23-24 March 2006

In preparation of our research efforts in IPY, a workshop is planned in Groningen (The Netherlands)
for all partners in the project. Topics for the workshop are:

Venue
Groningen/Haren in the north east of the Netherlands. Train travel from Amsterdam
airport Schiphol (twice per hour, travel time 2 hours and 30 minutes). The meeting
will be held in a university building (powerpoint and poster facilities), lodging
in a hotel close to the center of Groningen. Potential excursion to Schiermonnikoog / Waddensea on Saturday.
Funding
We have received funding from the Netherlands Science Foundation for lodging and
subsistence for all participants from Wednesday until Friday. Travel costs should
be paid by the participants themselves. If you have no travel funds available
contact Maarten Loonen.
